this book was being written before I was ever even a though in my father’s mind. my family has a LOT of intel background & publishing my father’s book in 2017 was and is still one of my biggest accomplishments to date. it took me far too long & I just went back and updated the manuscript but most importantly, made a customer cover for my dad for Father’s Day. it’s available in Kindle format and Paperback on Amazon at the link above. i spent hours of crying, laughing, getting frustrated and never wanting to come back to it but I finally finished and got what I knew my dad wanted.

today, I was going to do the laundry that I have been procrastinating to do, I even decided I was going to wash my duvet cover. Yup, it was time and I was ready, finally. I started the washer, just as I always do, put in the detergent and some OxiClean, started my load and went about my business. about 5 minutes later, I hear what seems to be water just GUSHING through something and pouring on to the floor downstairs. I started screaming for my dad. I screamed, no answer. Panic set in even more. Why the hell wasn’t he answering my distressed call for help?! I scream “DAAADDDD, WHERE ARE YOU PLEASE HELP ME I NEED YOUR HELP” over and over until he wakes up, dashes out of his room, and looks at me like the house is on fire, I’m on fire, like everything IN SIGHT is on fire. I proceed to tell him what is happening, panicked, almost yelling. He then yells back “what the fuck is going on?!”. I point to the washer and he darts up the stairs and it’s fucking almost over the top now but has poured over and is leaking out through something. We eventually turned off the water source, unplugged the washer, and hauled it downstairs and outside.

We then looked at each other as if we simultaneously were thinking “Oh shit, we need a new washer now.”. Silence. I know how weird my dad is about the “measurements of the washer” and how it “has to be a certain depth or it won’t fit” in the space it’s made to fit in. ugh. not on my Bingo card today, Pops. I ended up buying a new washer, of course with my father’s money. I got THE BEST DEAL on this Samsung 4.5ft ft3 Top Load Washer with an Impeller and Vibration Reduction from Home Depot. This is not an affiliate link, just an amazing Mother’s Day deal where we saved $301.00 and it will be professionally delivered and installed. hallelujah, I am glad that my dad agreed with my first choice because I did not have the time to wait around for him to go window shopping, I STILL HAVE WET CLOTHES THAT WERE IN THERE !!! I guess I should go hang those on a clothes line or something.
